Donald Trump just finished the longest convention acceptance speech in over 40 years.

Trump spoke for about an hour and 15 minutes, which is over 35 minutes longer than Obama and Romney’s addresses to their respective conventions in 2012, about 27 minutes longer than the average acceptance speech since 1972 (48 minutes and 15 seconds), and a little over 10 minutes longer than the previous 1972-and-after record holder (Bill Clinton’s 1996 convention stemwinder, which clocked in at nearly an hour and five minutes).

The wearying length of Trump’s speech definitely didn’t go unnoticed on Twitter.

Of course, under Trump, complaints about the length of the Dear Leader’s speeches will be banned.
