On Twitter, the image had been retweeted 648,000 times as of Wednesday morning. And on Facebook, it became the most-“liked” photo ever posted to the site, with than 3 million thumbs up and counting.
Social media and the Internet became critical platforms for both candidates this election, especially for courting the younger vote and securing their support. President Obama even did an Ask Me Anything, or AMA, on social news site Reddit. No doubt he feels his efforts and their reception were “Not Bad.”
