“Justice for Trayvon”

Why does the same gruesome story keep cropping up on conservative news sites? At the Blaze, Glenn Beck’s version of the Aurora, the excerpt from the local news story begins:

Mobile police need your help to catch a mob that beat Matthew Owens so badly that he’s in critical condition.

At the Drudge Report:

Mob beats man unconscious on his front porch…

At the Daily Caller:

Owens’ sister, Ashley Parker, saw the attack. “It was the scariest thing I have ever witnessed.” Parker says 20 people, all African American, attacked her brother on the front porch of his home, using “brass buckles, paint cans and anything they could get their hands on.”

And finally, at the American Spectator.

As the attackers walked away, leaving Owen bleeding on the ground, Parker says one of them said “Now thats justice for Trayvon.”

Quin Hillyer, author of the Spectator item, is outraged. “Mob-violence instigator Al Sharpton, racial shakedown artist Jesse Jackson, and Honorary New Black Panther (HNBP) Eric Holder now have a test,” he writes. “Do they have any shred of decency, humanity, and justice left in their race-hustling souls?”

The question’s fair. A few weeks ago, when I was in Sanford, George Zimmerman hadn’t been arrested yet. C.J. Williams was one of many black Sanfordians worrying that the town would blow up if something wasn’t done. He also wondered if Sharpton had done much good by coming down. “I’d like to see Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson do this, do their hoopla, when a white kid got shot,” he said. “If Al Sharpton did that, his image would improve, you know?”

It probably would! My question to Sharpton’s National Action Network may go unanswered today, but on his radio show today (he talks on the radio for three hours, breaks, then hosts a TV show), Sharpton interviewed Rodney King and gingerly explained why the Trayvon Martin case was so important. “It wasn’t about race,” he said. “It was about right and wrong.” This was a little pat, because Sharpton used the story to talk about racial profiling, but the idea that Sharpton can brain-wave black people into committing crimes against whites seems to be a relic of the Tawana Brawley days. The impression I got in Sanford was that the lack of an arrest was the injustice; that’s hard to compare to a case where the police are looking to arrest Matthew Owens’s attackers.

But how’s it going over in the comment section at the Blaze?

It is going to get worse. These are Holder’s people and he has basically told them no one will stop their violence against whites. You just wait. They are going to jump some person who is carrying and all hell is going to break lose. When someone with a fully loaded 9mm gets started, they will commence stacking them up.

Too bad it’s black on white HATE. Eric Holder and the “department of justice” won’t prosecute black on white hate crimes.

B l a c k on white hate crimes are very common, in the USA, very common; but, the media refuses to report on them. By hate crime, I mean violent attacks in which the perps voice racial hatred against the white person as they beat him to death.

The funnest part ..Glenn still believes in the mythology of MLK ..That’s makes me laugh every day…
