You’ve probably heard by now of the Free State Project, the effort to get libertarians to move to New Hampshire and turn it into the most free place possible. As I exited New Hampshire
, where the Free Keene movement has become the most visible, civil disobedience-minded cell of the FSP. This is not to most critical take on the effort that you’ll ever read, but I hope it’s a good picture of who these activists are. And a point I wanted to make was that, in the Great Recession, the collapse of trust in authority is taking many, many forms – people are not banding together under the banner of government.
