Our guide to the genre is Mark Jordan Legan, Hollywood writer, bad-film buff, and the man behind the weekly “Summary Judgment” segment for Slate and NPR’s Day to Day. Mark says the holy grail of bad gorilla movies is Queen Kong, which was never released due to threats of a lawsuit.
