It’s easy to be cynical about most things in life, but this time of the year, it’s nice to find proof that there’s a little magic in the air. For evidence of that, look no further than the video above. In it, Branden Bingham and his family—at Bear Lake, on the Utah-Idaho border, for a family gathering—are outside playing in a fresh dusting of snow (ah, right, snow). Before long, they stumble upon a kitten that is, essentially, frozen solid after spending far too long braving the frigid temperatures.
Captured on camera via GoPros, the family rushed the lifeless feline into the house and performed CPR on its tiny little body by the warmth of a fire. What happened next? Have some tissues handy.
