Watchmen, Succession , and Schitt’s Creek were the big winners at the 72nd Emmy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel on Sunday from a near-empty Staples Center in Los Angeles with nominees accepting their accolades virtually without having to leave their living rooms. It was a big night for HBO, which came out with the most winners of any network, though Pop TV was certainly celebrating too as once-underdog Schitt’s Creek swept the comedy categories, picking up the first seven awards of the night.
