First, it was canceled. Then, after fans begged Netflix to bring it back, it was … still canceled. Then those fans begged even harder, and Netflix finally said, “Fine, we’ll bring back Sense8. But only for a two-hour finale to tie up loose ends.” And then we waited.

Now, after almost 10 months of waiting, we finally have a release date for the Sense8 finale: June 8. “Personal lives are pushed aside as the cluster, their sidekicks, and some unexpected allies band together for a rescue mission and BPO take-down in order to protect the future of all Sensates,” reads Netflix’s description of the finale. The series, which was created by Lana and Lilly Wachowski and J. Michael Straczynski, follows eight strangers who share a psychic connection.

Frankly, Aug. 8 seems like it would have been a much more appropriate premiere date, but who wants to wait that long, anyway?
