On Monday, San Antonio Spurs great Tim Duncan announced his retirement from the NBA. In a press conference, Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich celebrated his star forward, explaining, “To spend time with Timmy is really sublime in many ways. People don’t know about his cleverness. I think of people like John Cleese.” While you might think it’s odd to compare the stoic basketball star with the Monty Python legend, the video above proves that Pop knows exactly what he’s talking about.
