Many critics have noted that The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’s theme song is a work of genius. As Aisha Harris noted on Slate, “its viral-primed, insanely catchy theme song” is among the show’s best quirks. But if you pay close attention to the opening credits that the earworm plays over, you’ll notice a possibly familiar presence: a hula-hooping girl.
Where have you seen her before? She also appears about four seconds into The Americans’ much less-auto-tuned credits. Reddit pointed this out several days ago, and a few people have begun calling it out on Twitter, too:
Who is this child? Is Reverend Richard Wayne Gary Wayne in the KGB? Let us know your theories. No matter what, this should make for some great fan fiction.
