Whipped cream is a crucial part of any holiday celebration. It belongs on pie, hot chocolate, eggnog, gingerbread, bûche de noel … honestly, anything that’s sweet can usually be improved by a dollop of whipped cream.
Because this time of year tends to be hectic, many people will reach for an aerosol can in the dairy aisle to fulfill their whipped-cream needs. But this is a mistake! It is incredibly easy to make whipped cream at home, and you don’t even need an electric mixer to do it. Best of all, homemade whipped cream is almost infinitely customizable.
