CineFix, which recently brought us an homage to great film edits, have compiled what they consider movie history’s 100 most iconic shots—from silent film classics to The Notebook—neatly arranged by visual and thematic similarities.
Some of these choices are highly debatable (did I mention The Notebook is in this?), but it’s a fun watch nonetheless. The version we’ve posted above labels each film the shot is from, but if you’d rather test your movie knowledge, you can watch the unlabeled version below.
