From Olivier Giroud to Cristiano Ronaldo, this has been a good World Cup for innovative and stupid haircuts. In selecting the best/worst haircuts of the tournament, we’ve given ourselves the challenge of fielding a full World Cup squad: a team of 11 players, sorted by position, that sport the most striking scalps. One note: In order to achieve both tactical and stylish balance, we’ve been flexible with some of the positions. Bacary Sagna, for example, plays right back for France, but he is playing center back in our lineup, a position he has played in the past for his old team Arsenal. If you disagree with any of these, leave us your picks in the comments. And don’t forget the photos! Also, see our all-time starting 11 World Cup haircuts.
