Slate’s Mistakes for the Week of May 27

In a May 30 Science, Tim Requarth misstated that Francis Collins was the director of the National Institute of Mental Health in 2004, when in fact he was then the director of the National Human Genome Research Institute.

In a May 28 Brow Beat, Sam Adams misstated that Booksmart was distributed by Annapurna Pictures. It was produced by Annapurna and distributed by United Artists Releading.

Slate strives to correct all errors of fact. If you’ve seen an error in our pages, let us know at General comments should be posted in our Comments sections associated with each article.
