Victoria Nourse

Victoria Nourse is the Whitworth Professor of Law at Georgetown Law, where she teaches constitutional law and interpretation. She has worked as a lawyer in the executive and congressional branches. Her latest book is The Impeachments of Donald Trump: An Introduction to Constitutional Argument (West 2021). Her role in drafting the original Violence Against Women Act is recounted in NPR's Throughline episode “Everybody Knows Somebody.”
