Mary B. McCord is a senior litigator and visiting professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center’s Institute for Constitutional Advocacy and Protection. She was the acting assistant attorney general for national security at the Department of Justice from 2016–17 and principal deputy assistant attorney general from 2014–17. She also was a longtime federal prosecutor.
