Jane Goodall

Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, a U.N. Messenger of Peace, is an expert in chimpanzee behavior and is responsible for groundbreaking discoveries beginning in 1960 that reshaped modern understanding of our relationship to the rest of the animal kingdom. Dr. Goodall is an advocate and conservationist, having founded the global conservation organization the Jane Goodall Institute and its Roots & Shoots youth program. Dr. Goodall is on a perpetual world tour, traveling nearly 300 days a year sharing insights from her research, her message of hope, and vision for a better future for all.
