Flora Cassen is chair of the Department of Jewish, Islamic, and Middle Eastern Studies at Washington University in St. Louis, where she is also associate professor of History and Jewish Studies. She is the author of Marking the Jews in Renaissance Italy and articles on early modern Jewish history and antisemitism in academic and public outlets.
