New York Senate candidate Rick Lazio recently hired Mike Murphy as a political adviser. Murphy, who rose to prominence as John McCain's public face during the presidential primaries, may even bring McCain's venerated "Straight Talk Express" to the Lazio campaign. In March, Slate's Jacob Weisberg exposed Murphy's back-stabbing, self-serving spin in the aftermath of McCain's defeat.
