April 30 marks the 25th anniversary of the fall of Saigon. In 1999, Fred Barnes and James Fallows dueled over Michael Lind's book Vietnam: The Necessary War. In 1997, Tom Dunkel explored one of the war's hidden legacies: the desecration of human skulls. And in 1996, Charles Paul Freund looked back on Nick Ut's harrowing photograph of Vietnamese children fleeing a napalm raid.
