In an April 23 "Chatterbox," Timothy Noah misspelled the first name of Eric Shinseki, secretary of veterans affairs.

In the April 21 "Press Box," Jack Shafer gave the incorrect date for a 1982 New York Times news article about public works.

In an April 21 "Chatterbox," Timothy Noah wrote that the Library Tower in Los Angeles was designed by I.M. Pei. The lead architects were two colleagues at Pei's architectural firm: Henry Cobb and Harold Fredenburgh.

In an April 17 "Chatterbox," Timothy Noah wrote that the United States came in 50^th in an international ranking of nations based on health care. Since many of the locales in the ranking were not nations, the United States actually came in 34^th. The same error led to incorrect rankings initially for Canada, France, Israel, Jordan, and Bosnia and Herzegovina (though it remained true, after these were corrected, that all ranked ahead of the United States).

In the April 9 "Music Box," Jody Rosen misquoted two lyrics from the new Decemberists album.

In an April 17 "XX Factor" post, Nina Rastogi originally wrote that io9 wrote about the first all-female species. It is the first all-female ant species.
