In a July 18 "Technology" article, Nick Douglas implied that YouTube doesn't require any Web browser plug-ins. YouTube videos do require a plug-in, the Flash player.

In the July 17 "Today's Pictures" gallery introduction, Magnum Photos incorrectly stated that Iceland gained its independence from Denmark on July 17, 1944. It was June 17, 1944.

In the July 16 "Jurisprudence," Cullen Seltzer incorrectly stated that the Supreme Court reversed the 3^rd and 5^th circuits in all cases last term. The court affirmed one 5^th Circuit ruling.

In the July 16 "The Spectator," Ron Rosenbaum misspelled the name of Oliver Wendell Holmes as well as the middle name of William Allen White.

In the July 16 "Today's Blogs," Sonia Smith misattributed a blog post. The author was Ryan Rodrick Beiler, not Jim Wallis.

In the July 13 "Science," Heather Smith misspelled the scientific name of the blue-orchard bee.
