
Sniper Suspect Muhammad "Liked to Mingle"?

He liked to mingle with people." On CNN.com, Muhammad's sister-in-law describes sniper suspect John Lee Malvo as "caring, respectful." A woman whose son attended school with Malvo told the Seattle Times, "My son said he was a nice kid." In 1999, David Plotz and Hanna Rosin explained why people say such trite things about mass murder suspects.
