Mom who works at home: Bill will be picking up the girls today.
Non-salaried mom: Why, are you out of town?
M: No, just on deadline.
N: Well that's awfully nice of him. I hate for him to have to do that.
M: It's not nice; he's their dad.
N: But, you can't come?
